Juniperus procumbens 'Nana' at 5 years old, standing 6 to 7 inches, set into a stone landscape rather than a plain pot. The rocks are imported and acid-washed, then cut and cemented along one side of the container leaving an ample well between them that holds water. Cemented across the stones on either side is a ceramic bridge, and a pagoda figurine sits cemented to the stone above it. Procumbens nana is a hardy garden juniper grown outdoors, where its scaled foliage stays evergreen and responds well to regular pinching.
