Everything wanted to pot and train a first bonsai, built around a 3-year-old Juniperus procumbens 'Nana' starter tree of about 5 inches. Alongside the juniper the kit supplies an imported glazed ceramic container, conifer bonsai soil, annealed copper training wire, fiberglass covers for the drainage holes, textured rock in mixed colours, and written instructions covering potting, training and ongoing maintenance. The work of seating the tree, settling on a front and wiring the first branches is left to you, which is a good deal of the point of starting this way.
