About this Juniper Bonsai, Trained, 20 Years Old, 15 Inches Tall (Juniperus procumbens)
20 years old and nearly square in its dimensions, 13 by 14 inches and 15 inches tall, this dwarf juniper reads as solid and well grounded from every side. Procumbens nana is a Japanese cultivar and the evergreen most commonly used for bonsai in the United States. It is a tough plant, capable of great age, and it puts up with far more than most conifers will accept. It has been worked in a trained style. This is an outdoor tree, and it does best with unobstructed light.
