About this Juniper Group Bonsai, Three Tree Forest, 16 Years Old (Juniperus procumbens)
Three dwarf Japanese junipers, each between 14 and 16 years old, planted together as a forest group. The composition measures 13 by 22 inches and rises 18 inches overall, with 14 inches from the soil surface to the tallest apex. Juniperus procumbens 'Nana' is the most widely grown evergreen for bonsai in the United States and remains the form most people associate with the art. It is hardy, very long lived and tolerant of conditions many other species resent. The planting is grown outdoors.
