About this Extra Large Fukien Tea Flowering Bonsai, Curved Trunk, 18 Years Old (Ehretia microphylla)
18 years of development stand behind this Fukien Tea, now 18 inches tall and worked in the traditional layered manner over a curving trunk line. Ehretia microphylla is a native of Fujian province in China; its leaves are small and hold a deep green, and the white flowers it produces are not tied to one season and can open at various points through the year. Pollinated blooms give way to red berries that deepen in tone over time. A heat-loving tree that does well kept indoors.
