About this Chinese Flowering White Serissa Group Bonsai with Exposed Roots, Three Tree Forest (Serissa japonica)
Three Serissa japonica planted together as a forest group, 17 years old, with the roots lifted and exposed above the soil. The planting as a whole measures 15 by 21 inches and stands 19 inches tall; each tree is 15 to 16 inches from soil to apex. Known as the tree of a thousand stars, this northern Chinese serissa carries shiny, somewhat elongated spoon-shaped green leaves on twiggy growth that thickens in response to shearing. Small white trumpet-shaped blossoms appear on the full upright canopy. Grow it indoors.
