About this Flowering Brush Cherry Group Bonsai, Three Tree Forest, 5 Years Old (Eugenia myrtifolia)

Three plants of Eugenia myrtifolia, each 5 years old and 6 to 7 inches tall, grouped as a forest planting. The Australian brush cherry, as it is also called, carries small, handsome evergreen leaves at a scale that suits bonsai, and the fresh growth emerges reddish before hardening off to green, a two-tone effect a multi-trunk group displays better than any single tree. Puffy pink and white blooms follow through spring and summer. It is a tropical and does best kept indoors, in a warm room with plenty of light.
