About this Mikawa Yatsubusa Japanese Maple Bonsai, Trained, 26 Years Old, 12 by 17 Inches (Acer palmatum)
Seen from any side, this 26-year-old trained Mikawa Yatsubusa presents a full, evenly filled crown, the product of a grafted cultivar that branches freely and sets its leaves at very short intervals. The tree spans 12 by 17 inches and rises 24 inches. Green through the growing months, the canopy shifts to burning red in autumn, an annual display that has long made this form a favoured subject for bonsai work. Hardy and forgiving in cultivation, it wants an outdoor spot rather than a room indoors.

This is a living Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum). Before you buy, this is what it will ask of you:
