About this Dwarf Sharp's Pygmy Japanese Maple Bonsai, 31 Years Old (Acer palmatum 'Sharps Pygme')
31 years of cultivation have given this dwarf Acer palmatum 'Sharp's Pygmy' a thicket of fine branching across a 21 by 22 inch spread, with an overall height of 25 inches. The species occurs widely in Japan, Korea and China. Its green leaves run 2 to 5 inches long and carry five to seven pointed, serrated lobes, while the autumn turn moves through yellow, red-purple and bronze. Congested branch structure and distinctive leaf shape together make it a showy subject for a patio or deck. Grow it outdoors.

This is a living Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum). Before you buy, this is what it will ask of you:
