About this Hawaiian Umbrella Stone Landscape Scene Bonsai, 6 Years Old (Arboricola schefflera 'Luseanne')

Arboricola schefflera 'Luseanne' at 6 years old, 9 to 11 inches tall, presented as a stone landscape. Rocks are cut and cemented along one side of the pot, leaving a generous well that holds water, with a ceramic bridge spanning the stones on either side and a pagoda figurine cemented in place above. This is the tree we point beginners toward: in our opinion it is among the easiest bonsai to look after, forgiving of the ordinary lapses that catch out an inexperienced grower. Kept indoors.

USDA zones: 10 to 11 outdoors year-round; treat as indoor elsewhere (tolerates brief 9b dips but no frost)
