About this Hawaiian Umbrella Bonsai Starter Kit, 8 Years Old (Schefflera arboricola)
Sold as a complete starter set built around an 8-year-old dwarf schefflera, the Hawaiian umbrella tree, standing 11 inches tall. The tree arrives already trimmed and planted in an imported glazed ceramic pot. Packed alongside it are annealed training wire for shaping, a textured rock in mixed colours, decorative pebbles to dress the soil surface, a small ceramic figurine and a humidity tray to sit beneath the pot. Schefflera is among the more forgiving subjects for indoor growing, tolerating ordinary room conditions while it puts out its distinctive whorled, umbrella-like leaves.
