Also sold as the Mexicana ficus, this species carries long, narrow leaves in a light green that call to mind the weeping willow, which is where its common name comes from. The tree is 6 years old and 6 to 7 inches tall, a small size that suits a desk or a shelf. Among indoor bonsai it is unusually adaptable on light, growing well in low, moderate or bright positions, so it need not be placed at a window to keep its foliage in good order.

This is a living Willow Leaf Ficus (Ficus salicaria). Before you buy, this is what it will ask of you:
