Willow Leaf Ficus bonsai care

This is a living Willow Leaf Ficus (Ficus salicaria). Before you buy, this is what it will ask of you:

Indoor / outdoor: Indoor in cold climates; outdoors in zones 10+ or summered outside in warmth
Light: Bright light: as much as possible; tolerates lower light better than many figs
Water: Moderate to moist: like most figs, water generously when the surface just dries; never let it bone-dry, but it also forgives occasional over/under-watering.
USDA zones: 10a to 12b outdoors year-round; indoor bonsai in any cooler climate
#1 cause of death: Overwatering / root rot (figs are sensitive to constantly wet soil)

Soil, repotting, pruning, seasonal work and the full pest and disease list are in our free Willow Leaf Ficus bonsai care guide.
