About this Flowering and Fruiting Arbequina Olive Bonsai

A seven-year-old Arbequina olive of 8 to 11 inches, young enough that most of its shaping is still ahead of it. Arbequina is a Spanish cultivar that has become one of the dominant olives grown worldwide, being self-pollinating and bearing small aromatic dark brown fruit. The crop ripens from November, though rarely all at once. The olives are eaten for their mild buttery flavour and pressed for oil. Kept indoors in a bright position it will flower and fruit at this size.
