About this Tan Unglazed Ceramic Bonsai Pot, Rectangle 8" x 6" x 3"
A rectangle with straight, unadorned sides tends to suit trees trained in the formal or informal upright style, where the pot's job is to ground the composition rather than draw the eye. This example is cast in unglazed tan clay, measures 8 by 6 by 3 inches, and offers a depth suited to a tree in active development, with enough volume for roots to build structure between repottings. The bare clay finish is the traditional companion for conifers, pines, and junipers, though it works just as well as a training pot for younger material of other species.
