About this Bonsai Single Point Root Rake
A single steel prong set on a handle 8 inches long, used at transplanting and repotting time to separate the small and medium capillary roots within a root ball. Drawing the prong through the mass frees compacted old soil and lets you comb the roots out flat before the tree goes back into its pot. It is a plain tool that does one job, yet most growers find a tidy repot difficult without one. Overall length 8 inches.
