About this Heavy Duty Bonsai Wire Cutters
Cutters made specifically for taking training wire back off a tree, 8 inches in overall length. The head is rounded rather than pointed so it can be worked right up against bark without gouging the trunk or branches as the wire is removed. The jaws bite through the wire symmetrically and cleanly, leaving short pieces that lift away instead of dragging. Newcomers sometimes substitute standard hardware wire cutters, but for the sake of the tree these are well worth having.
