About this Flowering Top Hat Blueberry Bonsai, 8 Years Old (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Argustifolium')
A dwarf Top Hat blueberry, 8 years old and 6 to 8 inches tall, native to northern and alpine North America. Spring brings a heavy set of small white blooms, and these are followed by full-size 1/2" berries, sweet and edible, across a harvest season of roughly one month beginning in early August. It is self-pollinating, so no partner plant is required, and it reaches only 18 inches when fully grown. The small glossy leaves turn bright red in fall. An outdoor plant.
