Seventeen years of growth stand behind this Murraya paniculata, now 9 by 16 by 22 inches on a curved trunk and set in a 10-inch blue and green oval container. Orange jasmine, sometimes called satinwood, belongs to the rue family, and its white flowers carry the scent of orange blossom against dark evergreen foliage. Flowering comes in flushes through the year rather than in one season, and is followed by bright orange to red fruit. It makes one of the better flowering trees for indoor keeping.
