About this Flowering Lemon Bonsai, 8 Years Old (Citrus × meyeri)
A sweet California Meyer lemon, 8 years old and 14 to 18 inches tall. There is nearly always something happening on this citrus, which is generally either in fruit or in flower and sometimes in both at once. The blossom is purplish-white and strongly aromatic; the fruit that follows is large and wonderfully fragrant, carried against evergreen leaves. It will grow in almost any climate so long as it comes inside before freezing weather arrives, so it is treated here as an indoor tree. Citrus want the brightest window available.
