About this Dark Blue Ceramic Bonsai Pot, Oval Land/Water Divider 8.0" x 6.0" x 3.0"
Land and water divider pots like this one are built for a specific style of planting, where soil occupies part of the container and a separate low section represents open water. This dark blue glazed piece measures 8 by 6 by 3 inches overall, with the land portion set at 4.0 by 5.0 inches and a single drainage hole for that section, and it comes with a matching attached tray rather than a separate one. The oval outline and glazed finish suit a display tree paired with a rock or figurine arrangement on the water side, a traditional format in Chinese penjing.
