About this Brown Mica Bonsai Pot, Rectangle 18.75" x 14 7/8" x 5.0"
This large rectangular pot, finished in brown mica, measures 18.75 by 14 7/8 by 5.0 inches outside with an interior of about 17.25 by 13 1/8 by 3.75 inches, giving a heavier or older specimen ample soil to work with. Depth of this order suits formal upright trees or substantial trunks, where a shallow container would look unbalanced. The mica used here is a Korean-made composite of mica, polyethylene and graphite, valued for keeping soil temperature steadier through seasonal changes and for lasting outdoors. As with most brown, unglazed-style containers, it fits the traditional pairing with conifers and pines rather than flowering trees.
