About this Brown Mica Bonsai Pot, Rectangle 14.75" x 10.75" x 4.25"
A mid-size rectangular mica pot, 14.75 by 10.75 by 4.25 inches outside with a 13 by 9 by 3.75 inch interior. The squared proportions and moderate depth fit a formal upright tree or a trunk with real taper and mass, where a shallow oval would look undersized. Unglazed brown is the conventional finish for conifers and pines, keeping the container secondary to the tree. Mica construction resists the cracking that can happen to ceramic pots left outdoors through freezing weather, and it helps moderate soil temperature during both hot and cold stretches, a practical benefit for a pot living outside year-round.
