About this Brown Mica Bonsai Pot, Rectangle 12 3/8" x 8.75 x 4.0"
A smaller rectangular mica pot, 12 3/8 by 8.75 by 4 inches outside with an 11 by 7.5 by 3.25 inch interior, sized for a young or medium tree still being trained into a formal upright shape. The brown, unglazed surface is the conventional choice for conifers and pines, where the pot is meant to stay in the background. Even at this smaller scale, mica offers the same practical advantages as the larger pots in the line: resistance to cracking outdoors and a buffering effect on soil temperature through seasonal swings, useful for a pot that may hold one tree through several years of development.
