Squares of fiberglass mesh measuring approximately one inch across, supplied twelve to a package. Each one sits over a drainage hole in the base of a bonsai pot before the soil goes in, so water can leave freely while the mix stays where you put it instead of washing out through the bottom every time you water. A package of twelve covers several pots, as the covers are normally renewed at each repotting rather than saved and reused.
