About this Blue / Green Ceramic Bonsai Pot Oval 5.25" x 4.0" x 2.25"
A blue-green glaze, somewhere between the two colors rather than firmly one or the other, covers this oval ceramic pot, measuring 5.25 by 4.0 by 2.25 inches outside and about 4.5 by 3.25 by 1.75 inches inside. The oval shape suits an informal upright or slanting trunk better than a rectangle would, following the natural curve of a tree with some movement in its line. Glazed, colored pots such as this one are conventionally reserved for deciduous, flowering, or fruiting trees, letting the container's tone play off seasonal foliage. Its small scale fits shohin or accent-size plantings rather than a large specimen tree.
