Blue glazed and oval, this pot measures 10.0 by 7.5 by 4.5 inches, a depth-to-length ratio on the deeper side for an oval shape. That extra depth can suit a tree with a thicker root mass or a trunk trained in a style that needs more vertical stability than a shallow oval provides. The oval outline itself still spreads roots laterally, generally a better match for informal upright or slanting trees than for a rigid formal upright.
