About this Blue Ceramic Bonsai Pot, Oval 20" x 16" x 5"
At 20 by 16 by 5 inches outside and 18 by 14 by 4.25 inches inside, this blue-glazed oval is among the larger display pots in the imported Chinese ceramic range. The gap between outside and inside measurements reflects a thicker rim and wall built to carry real weight, appropriate for a well-established tree with a substantial root mass. Five inches of depth on an oval this wide still reads as moderate rather than deep, keeping it workable for an informal upright or slant-style trunk rather than pushing it toward cascade proportions. Blue at this scale suits a mature flowering or deciduous show tree.
